Two fabric layers slide past one another
Zebra blinds alternate solid and sheer bands. Align the sheer areas of both layers to admit more light; shift the solid bands over them for greater coverage. To clear the view, raise the blind using the controls for that system.
The corner-window photo shows the sheer bands open. Try the full movement on a sample, from open bands to greater coverage, then step back and look at the whole window.
Check the light from your seat
Sunlight has a knack for arriving just as the television goes on. Before closing everything, shift the bands a little, check the screen and stop where it feels comfortable. Different windows in the same room may need different settings as the sun moves.
Use the intended control rather than pulling down on the fabric. Ask the fitter to show band adjustment and raising, then try both yourself. In homes with children, the cord or chain safety device supplied for the system must be fitted and used correctly.

For bedrooms, check how closed it really feels
Closing the bands does not guarantee a completely dark room. The fabric, band overlap and gaps around the fitting all matter. If morning light wakes you easily, view the sample against light and discuss the installation before ordering.
Check privacy with the room lights on and the blind set as you normally use it. If you need greater coverage, discuss a suitable fabric or an additional layer after checking the space. The name “day and night” alone is not enough to choose for a bedroom.
Look at the bands as well as the colour
Horizontal lines are a visible part of zebra blinds. In a room with patterned tiles, wallpaper or wall panels, colours close to the wall tone can feel quieter. For a stronger window feature, try a darker shade on a sufficiently large sample.
For a group of windows like the one pictured, ask how the blinds will be divided and how the bands will line up. Actual dimensions and fitting positions need checking; a good colour reference cannot settle those details.
Be gentle with the sheer areas
Dust gently with a soft brush and follow the fabric’s care instructions. Handle the sheer sections carefully and do not soak the blind. If bands become uneven or the blind rolls irregularly, stop using it and send a photo for a check.
Send Hiên a window photo and say whether open daylight or greater coverage matters more. We can compare zebra samples for that need and try the controls so the everyday use feels comfortable.
